Hello, I am

Rohan Shah

Turning business complexity into strategic clarity.

Former Analyst at Performics (Publicis Groupe) | Msc Business Analytics at Queen’s University Belfast

About me

Bridging data and business strategy by turning numbers into decisions people can act on.

I enjoy solving business problems where strategy and analytics intersect. Whether it’s evaluating a market entry opportunity, improving business performance, or extracting insights from data, I’m most engaged when decisions require both structured thinking and evidence.

My experience at Performics introduced me to solving business challenges for large BFSI clients in a fast-paced environment, while my MSc in Business Analytics at Queen’s University Belfast is strengthening my ability to approach problems with analytical rigor and strategic perspective.

Beyond academics and professional work, I enjoy building consulting-style case studies that challenge me to think like an advisor rather than simply an analyst. Every project in this portfolio reflects that mindset.

When I’m not solving business problems, you’ll probably find me on a long drive with music playing

Greggs India Market Entry Strategy: An Independent Commercial Analysis

Skill tested: Market sizing & entry strategy

Developed a market-entry strategy for Greggs’ expansion into India, covering market sizing, competitive analysis, and a 3 scenario financial model. Using TAM/SAM/SOM analysis, the opportunity was narrowed from India’s $27.8B QSR market to a realistic $25M three-year pilot target. The strategy recommended a franchise-led Bengaluru-first entry with a localized, veg-forward menu, ₹79–149 pricing, and a phased 12-month rollout plan to establish Greggs’ affordable grab-and-go bakery positioning.

TCS: Converting AI from Threat to Growth Engine

Skill tested: Transformation sequencing & competitive credibility

A 3-year roadmap for how TCS should reposition its AI business, sequencing credibility, workforce, and pricing decisions ahead of scale. Using a MECE framework across Revenue, Workforce, Delivery, and Competitive Positioning, I benchmarked TCS against Infosys, Cognizant, and Accenture, and found that its self-reported AI revenue is a credibility risk before it’s a growth story. The recommendation is to fix AI-revenue reporting and reskilling first, then pilot outcome-based pricing on a small set of lighthouse accounts before scaling company-wide.

Ola Electric × Log9 Materials: A Distressed-Asset M&A Case Study

Skill tested: M&A strategy & deal structuring

Developed an M&A case study evaluating whether Ola Electric should acquire distressed battery-tech startup Log9 Materials to close its cell-capability gap, after Ola’s in-house Gigafactory build fell four milestones behind plan. Using competitive benchmarking and a build-vs-buy-vs-partner framework, the analysis narrowed the field to Log9 as the strongest acquirable target for its complementary LTO/graphene fast-charging chemistry and 16 graphene patents. The recommendation was a targeted asset purchase through the IBC resolution process, structured to avoid a full corporate rescue, priced at ₹80–120 Cr in the base case, with a phased 36-month integration plan to retain the core R&D team, validate the chemistry in parallel, and commercialize a fast-charging product line.

Blinkit Customer Segmentation: Four Shopper Types Behind One Average Order Value

Skill tested: Behavioral segmentation & monetization strategy from public data

This case study segments Blinkit’s customer base into four distinct shopper types, arguing that its single average order value masks very different buying behaviors. Using public disclosures and independent quick-commerce research, it identifies Weekly Stock-Up Planners, Urgent Top-Up Shoppers, Discount-Led Occasional buyers, and Dormant/Trial Users. Each defined by purchase frequency and motivation. For every segment, the analysis recommends a targeted lever such as paid membership, retail media ads, targeted discounts, or low-cost win-back campaigns, respectively, benchmarked against proven industry results like Zepto Pass’s membership growth. The core thesis: Blinkit should stop over-discounting loyal shoppers and under-monetizing urgent ones.
